Winter Break - Time for fun and learning

Winter Break for School District 21 students and staff takes place the weeks of December 21st and December 28th. While school will not be in session during these weeks, there are many fun things that can also be great learning opportunities for students and their families. Ideas in our community include:

• Visiting one of our local libraries for books–and more
• At home or at the library, learn to code with online resources fromCode.org or Google’s Made with Code
• Take advantage of the nice weather by visiting local forest preserves (Cook County | Lake County)
• Participate in a program or open gym at one of our local park districts
