Makerspace provides hands-on opportunities for all students to investigate the world of science, technology, art, engineering and math by solving complex problems and finding solutions while working together to create, explore, unravel, collaborate and communicate.
This year, Makerspace will be offered as a lunchtime activity for grades 1-5 once per trimester.
Makerspace has also been embedded in the curriculum for grades 1-5. Students and teachers meet once a trimester to explore, create and problem solve as they demonstrate understanding of science, math and literacy standards.
